ABOUT ME

Originally from Baltimore, MD, residing in Atlanta, GA, I’m a mother of girls who does her best to be the example she wants in return. The cost of beauty for me and my girls was one of the deciding factors when I decided to become a nail technician. The other was that there aren’t many African American nail techs who do pedicures. I like to create out of the box nail designs, however I believe that simplicity is just as elegant.

My relationship with makeup started for me after the passing of my beloved mother. She was my best friend and number one supporter. The anxiety I faced during that time was new, however the depression was not. I was always told by my mom, “You don’t have to look like what you’re going through.” After that, my face became my canvas.

I started with eyeshadows and then learned to do eyebrows. I can’t lie, sometimes one comes out looking like it came from Walmart and the other from Target… lol. They’re more like cousins than identical sisters. I’ve made progress and more than five years later and tons of practice, I’ve turned the faces of others into works of art.

From bridal parties, graduations, proms, “just because”, and other events/occasions, I’ve given the gift of confidence over & over again. From one-on-one classes, in person services, or pre-recorded trainings, I’m blessed to be able to assist so many others not look how they feel, when they don’t feel like they’re having those beautiful moments at the time.
